What Olympic sports do you enjoy watching the most?

I would say my favorite is Soccer (football), but even though it’s in the Olympics, Soccer has never felt like an Olympic sport to me. It’s more like a diet World Cup, so although I enjoy watching it the most, I wouldn’t call it my favorite Olympic event.
When I think of the Olympics, I think of individual excellence over team sports. For example, I really enjoy the technical displays of strength & agility seen in Gymnastics (I had a huge crush on Sean Johnson when growing up) & Figure Skating.
In addition to those events with technical finesse, I also love the excitement & power on display in racing events (i.e. Track & Field and Swimming). I grew up with Michael Phelps & Usain Bolt in their prime, so every race was like watching history being made.
And to end, I’ll wrap up with my final favorite: Beach Volleyball – because I’m like every other pervy guy. Where else could I stare at the best bodies in the world like a creep and then get called “patriotic” for “supporting” my country by cheering them on?
