Niceness

What personality trait in people raises a red flag with you?

Niceness & Kindness are two very different things.

Kindness doesn’t care what you think. It’s like the Sun. It doesn’t matter; whenever Dawn arrives, so does its light & warmth. Even if you try to block it out & close your curtains, the Sun will still be there. Smiling its light onto your blinds; waiting for when you change your mind.

But Niceness is much different; much colder. Like a refrigerator light – it’s Fake. It might look like the Sun when you open the door, yet feels oh~so frigid. The light is still there to help you but it’s only on when you’re looking. Once you’re out of the picture, it switches like a bipolar fixture. And if it ever loses its energy source, its reason to work, it doesn’t even pretend to send good vibes. It just lets its insides spoil like lies covered in flies.

& that’s the real difference between Kindness & Niceness: Niceness only gives a shit when it needs a bit to get lit, while Kindness tries to find & fill us, regardless. The Sun is a fusion reactor that fuels the universe; Kindness is chlorophyll. Niceties are only in service to selfish societies rather than really harboring an actual spirit of hospitality Whö provides for Life no matter how radical the revolutionary reality may be.
