The scariest thing about Trump claiming “Tylenol causes autism” is the fact that now they can decide anyone who doesn’t agree with them and has taken Tylenol (so basically everyone) is autistic. Autists are already soft second-class citizens, but I won’t put it past this administration to write their discrimination against us into law. Right now, the Trans community is the primary target of dehumanization, but the Autistic community is high on their priority list. Whatever they get away with in terms of Trans people will inevitably be used on Autistic people. And circling back to the original thought, since Tylenol now supposedly causes Autism, they can claim anyone who disagrees with them is Autistic and thus shouldn’t be in the conversation with real people.
Random Thought #66: “Esaida..well…Acetaminophen…Ok?”
That is one horrifying aspect of it… I’m also concerned it dehumanises women even more so, as they’re now being told not to take any pain medication during pregnancy (some being forced to endure now) at all. At this point they’re just walking wombs with no consideration of them being human beings in their own right.
