I’ve had a lot of people I work with approach me, asking if I’m looking to get a “Black Hat,” aka, be promoted to supervisor, since base-level employees are given Red hats. Both my peers & supervisors, both from my store as well as flex-managers who help out our store.
I’ve worked with a good amount of flex managers since, when I started, we only had 2, then 1 got “let go,” leaving only 1 home-store supervisors for 3rd shift, so they’re definitely looking for more help in that department.
I don’t think it’s that my head manager doesn’t think I’m suited for it, just that she has other things on her mind that I tend to slip it. Plus, she only sees me maybe for an hour or so during my shift, though, a good chunk of that is after my shift technically “
