Random Thought #383: °öF Death

I always found it funny how there’s this weird reputation of “healthy” cigarettes and whatever else you could describe them that wouldn’t be redundant.

All cigarettes are unhealthy.

What made me think this, or at least reminded me in this moment, is a little “gift” I got from my preferred choice of cigarette brand, American Spirit.

It’s not really a gift since all they’re really doing is giving me incentive to die faster, but whatever.

This isn’t really about the health of smoking, or rather, lack there of. Choosing a brand based on how “good” it is for you is really Just measuring in degrees of death. Though, before I get to the point that really isn’t the point at this point, yet I’ll hopefully at least end at that point, I wanna mention a quick tangent…

Something I’ve said about smoking cigarettes is this:

“Smoking doesn’t make you cool; it just happens a lot of cool people smoke…”

Another thing I say is,

“A cool person is cool in the same way a dead body is…”

A lot of “cool” people smoke since “Death” really isn’t a consequence to them… anymore…

That’s why they seem so “cool” no matter how hot Hell gets…

Whatever, back to the point that’s not really important to anyone other than fans of “Noah Sweet”…

I don’t smoke American Spirits because I think they’re healthy; I do because my friend smoked them, and some of my favorite memories are sneaking out of the noise of a loud party to have a moment of peace with him on a balcony, or at least that’s how I like remembering…

Then I saw a few of my favorite rock stars smoking them, and that just confirmed it for me.
