If you could erase one movie from your memory and watch it again for the first time, which one would it be?
I happened to randomly write about “Star Wars” today before seeing this prompt, so I figured I’d repost the main part here:
I’m reminded of how R2D2 was fully aware of the Truth for the entire original trilogy since they only wiped C3PO’s memory.
How frustrating it must have been that nobody understood him; at least Chewie has Han, though he didn’t speak of his time in the Clone Wars; probably PTSD, though also, he wanted to respect his Atheist friend’s beliefs…
Now that I think about it, R2 did eventually find someone who could understand him, Luke Skywalker. It makes sense his best friend’s son could understand him just like Anakin could; C3PO is an associate, not a friend…
Though, back to Luke, and how since he could understand R2, that means R2 could have revealed the Truth whenever. Though, would you really wanna tell the only person who understands you that the person you’re trying to kill is… well, Ü know…
