Whenever Sapm callers try to get info out of me, I’ve cycled between many methods to deal with the rage they inspired. Not anymore though; I just work here…

From trying to ignore them, to answering their calls & giving them fake info until they realize I’m lying, or the worst of all, telling at some random person trying to earn a paycheck.
I don’t really feel all that bad for yelling at them. They’re just trying to survive, though, they’re making my life Hell in their attempt. Fair is fake; that was supposed to say “fair is fair” though I kinda like the other version…
Either way, I may have felt good yelling, though embarrassed after; imagine if my kids were in the house?

Now I don’t yell; whenever they ask me questions, I no longer answer them; rather, respond with my own.
Sometimes I’ll mirror them; William asked me if I had car insurance; I told him I’d only tell him if I had car insurance if he told me if he had car insurance first. He was not very comfortable with exposing himself, even though there’s absolutely nothing I could do with that information; maybe he should be more careful with his name. Maybe he was, and it’s fake like “Tiger,” though, my Death Note doesn’t need a real name…

Then there was Betty; Betty was smarter, at first. She didn’t reveal her name, at first. She asked mine, then I demanded hers; she complied, of course.
Then when she gave her name, she asked me a question. I don’t remember it; its not important. I responded with my favorite question to ask scam callers trying to swindle 67 year olds:
“Betty, are you satisfied with your Life?”
