Blue Sky

This is already…transforming in my mind; a sorta synthesis of ideas that I hope to capture in some aspect.

A question I’ve always heard since I was a little kid is:

“Why is the sky blue?”

I come back to this question alot, especially for one that I know the answer to, thanks to science. Something about the way light refracts through the atmosphere, and something about the blue wavelength of light being what we see due to the happenstance called “Nature.”

There’s some thought there i could get lost in, though let’s jump to another point.

Staying still in the sciencey realm, though more in the theoretical that…Nevermind

We’re gonna talk about multi-verse

Not much about it, just a little thought experiment. Basically, imagine waking up in another world; another earth. Everything is exactly the same, except the sky is red. I’m sure that world has some unique features about its reality that you’re not aware of in which their science explains why the sky is red in some arbitrary, meaningless way that makes sense from where you’re standing…

This is kinda getting to the point. Science doesn’t answer “why is the sky blue?” Science answers “how is the sky blue?”

As in, what mechanisms of Nature’s realities result in our perception of the color blue.

If you ask me, I think God just asked the Sky what color She wanted to be, so she chose her favorite color…
