There was a particularly…traumatizing moment that occurred at work awhile ago, though i knew I wouldn’t forget, so I didn’t bother writing about it ’til now…

Something that I’ve written before that, if not exactly like this, most people who are called “racist” aren’t really racist, just dumb & mad. So much so, I wasn’t sure how…

That doesn’t matter, basically, looking into the eyes of a genuine racist filled with pure, unadulterated hatred for someone for something outside of their control…how life altering it is, perspective shifting in a way I rarely experience outside of my mirror…traumatic.

The thing is, being autistic, I rarely look people in the eye, so even if I did encounter genuine racists, I never stared long enough to experience their Hell. The 1st time I witnessed a genuine racist was in a photograph, a Nazi staring at a Jewish photographer; terrified. The only reason I could bare the fear was because i knew the man in the picture couldn’t touch me; couldn’t hurt me.

At least i thought, though, that’s a thought for another time…
