There’s a really interesting phenomenon found in the synthesis of ego & self-righteous ignorance. This thought you’re taking a stand for something important when really you’re stepping off a ledge like Wile E. Coyote, just waiting for the comedic timing to look down before realizing their mistake.

This isn’t the original example. I just wanna mention 2 bonus ones really quick since they make me laugh since I’m too exhausted to cry:

One was a white person telling a white person that wearing a kimono was cultural appropriation, while a Japanese person was over the moon that a foreigner was that interested in their culture.

Second was another white person telling …actually, they may have been black; ironically… let’s just say I’m a “self-hatimg jew” stereotype; whatever. This isn’t about me. Some American told a Spanish person, as in from Spain, it was racist for them to speak Spanish because they weren’t Mexican. Actually, now that i think about it, it might have been a light-skin Mexican. Who knows. The only thing i know is the SJW was wrong regardless of the drtails…

Wow, that took a way longer detour than expected; let’s see if we can get back on course.

The particular example is kinda of the inverse ignorance of “both sides” (PS: only f*gs are triggered by the phrase “both sides”)
